Club 41 -Fine Food & Cocktails for Over 50 Years!
Club 41 was opened in 1957 by Al Wagy Sr. and his son, Al Wagy Jr. in an old gas station in St. Augustine, IL.
They served a basic supper club type menu, consisting of steaks, chops, fish and sandwiches--and, of course, onion rings.
Bar sales were the driving force of their original success, but slowly the word of the good food and great oinion rings spread,
and the legacy of Club 41 was built.
In 2004 Al Jr. sold the club to his daughter, Liz, and her husband, Ben Rhodes. Ben has gradually expanded the menu to reflect a
broader spectrum of customer preferances, but all of your old favorites are still here! Filet Mignon, Catfish, Fried Chicken and Tenderloins
have been joined by things like Chicken Alfredo, Garlic Grilled Prawns and Reubens. There are even a few vegetarian options!
St. Augustine isn't on the way to very many places. For most, Club 41 is a special trip. We know that, and want to do everything we
can to make your trip special.
